You might confuse this hike with the more famous Abel Tasman Coast Track in New Zealand. However, this is Australia, Tasmania. The Tasman Coastal Trail within the Tasman National Park (Tasman peninsula on the east side of Tasmania) follows one of the most spectacular coastlines in Australia, with some of the country’s highest sea cliffs. There's a lot of wildlife to enjoy here on the relatively mild east coast, such as penguins, dolphins and whales. The trail is less busy, and less demanding, than the popular Overland Track.
