Loop van de Reest, Meppel - Hoogeveen, 113 km

This path follows the course of the Reest, a small river in the north of the Netherlands, on the border of the provinces Drenthe and Overijssel. Much of this stream is relatively untouched, which is quite unusual. This part of the Netherlands is quiet, and you will be a lonesome hiker here, thanks to the initiative of two nature conservation organisations: Het Drentse Landschap / Landschap Overijssel.
