Westerborkpad, Amsterdam - Westerbork, 336 km

Westerbork was the Dutch transit camp during second worldwar Holocaust. From here, Jews were deported to Poland, and never returned. The jewish community of Amsterdam was wiped out between 1940 and 1945. This trail is to commemorate this terrible past. The trail follows the route of the train that deported the Jews from Amsterdam to Westerbork.

The historic significance of the trail is tangible at each stage. Currently, the trail is not marked in the field. A booklet is available with all information. Along the trail are musea and monuments.
