Seychelles
Description
The Indian Ocean island nation of the Seychelles consists of more than 115 islands, located off the east coast of Africa to the north of Madagascar. Largest and main island is Mahé.
There is some fun hiking through rain forests on Mahé Island, but also on Praslin in the Vallee de Mai National Park, on Cousine and on Silhouette for instance. You will come across the rarest animal and plant species like sandalwood trees and giant carnivorous plants. Many hiking trails are well signed and documented on maps available locally in the capital Victoria.
